i like big butts and i cannot tell a lie
This is the first entry of this blog, so I feel compelled to make it something special. Ideally, I would like to post a couple of pictures every week of random, amusing occurences in my otherwise mundane life.
I use the camera on my cell phone a great deal because, although the picture quality isn't that great, it's just so easy to use and gives me the ability to capture things as they happen. So thus, to de-virginize this blog, a few random happenings of the last few weeks.
The whiteboard of Anna and I's room sees a lot of action. I try to chronicle it as it changes but it's a little impossible to keep up with, so here's what was on it two or so weeks ago, when all of us in the Suite of Awesome were listening to various versions of "Baby Got Back". Here's the concept I came up with. The drawing is courtesy of Nina.
Soon thereafter, the Suite of Awesome (ie: myself, Anna, and Nina), along with our friend Lisa from Virginia Tech, took a roadtrip all the way down to Norfolk, Virginia, to go see my favorite band, The Twilight Singers. I meant to actually chronicle the entire trip from beginning to end, but the batteries in my digital camera died somewhere near Williamsburg, so here's what I got with my phone:
Lisa and Anna's Epic Arm Wrestle at the California Pizza Kitchen across the street from the venue, complete with Nina's FIST OF FURY.
Opener Jeff Klein, a very talented fellow who basically is his own One Man Band. For this reason, I think he would be a delightful addition to Cate Blanchett Wants Your Flesh. However, he plays music, and we at CBWYF are too avant-garde for music.
Greg Dulli of The Twilight Singers rocking out during "Candy Cane Crawl". In the words of Paris Hilton, "That's hot."
Stay tuned, folks.
